Roberto Links was born in Illinois. He is the brother of Dana Flodge. His other sister, Fran, met and married Harvey McJimik. Since Barry Flodge, the father of Fledge, Roberto took on the role similar to a father for his nephew. Fledge often called him "Unc Roberto". Roberto Links is a former resident of Illinois.
